Our Story
Veteran Insurance was founded in 2011 by a team of Zambian mining engineers and insurance professionals who saw a gap in the market. While international insurers offered mining cover, they didn't understand the reality of operating in the Copperbelt — the logistics challenges, the local supply chains, or the regulatory environment.
Today, we are one of Zambia's leading specialist insurers, with over K2.5 billion in assets under coverage. Our client list includes copper producers, emerald exporters, logistics contractors, and heavy equipment operators across the country.
We are licensed by the Pensions & Insurance Authority of Zambia and maintain strong reinsurance relationships with international markets in London and Johannesburg.
